Country is all around us!

In Jackson Hole we wait all year for Spring and Summer, which usually comes very late. So we start scheduling early for our overnight guests.

We open all the windows in the house which requires a wearing a new sweater and we begin to freshen up our Indian blankets, our patchwork pillows, vintage florals and western country check tablecloths.

When Dave and I moved from New York City to our new home in the American West we were surrounded by nature, wildlife and the most beautiful mountain range in the West. Every season is different and it dictates how we dress, our lifestyle, our meals, our garden selections and how we furnish our homes

In Spring we pray for the snow to melt every year so we can put away our skis. We wait for the trees to bud and look for soft early green to appear. We clean out our closets and make sure all the new is in place from the Holidays. Then we notice Bulbs beginning to sprout.

Time to finalize the planning for our garden, order seeds, and begin to look for fresh flower to decorate our home.
